Finding An Animal Hospital In Springfield IL

My kids had let the dog out the front door. I didn't realize it until they started screaming for him to come back. He had taken off down the road and a car was heading right for him. We watched in horror as the car nicked his back legs. He was alive but he couldn't get up. We rushed him to the closest animal hospital in Springfield IL. My kids were crushed. We were all crying and the employees at the hospital were great about making us feel comfortable while the vets worked on our dog. I can't say enough great things about the animal hospital in Springfield IL. They kept us up to date with the progress he was making in surgery and as soon as he was done, they informed us right away. We had to wait until he was out of recovery before we could see him. He had broken one of his legs and there was serious swelling and bruising. Thanks to the quick work of the vets, they were able to save him and he should have a full recovery. He had to stay at the hospital for a few days, once we were able to take him home, he was so happy! Share
